Responsibilities: Prepare technical documentation including but not limited to electrical drawings, general layout drawings, design calculations, standard specifications, equipment lists Write reports for power system studies such as arc flash analysis Deliver project requirements as they relate to scope, cost, and schedule Prepare and provide proposal support Work well under the direction of senior engineering staff Engage with clients and promote business development Conduct site visits, which may include travel regionally and internationally Follow all health and safety policies, regulations, and legislation Make sure all project timelines are met Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering Five plus years of electrical engineering experience Having previous experience in renewable energy is an advantage Familiar with relevant codes, calculations, and studies Knowledgeable in PVsyst, ETAP, Microsoft Office Genuine passion for the renewable energy sector It is crucial to possess exceptional skills in both verbal and written communication Attention to details Enjoys challenges Wants to contribute to the team Must be able and willing to travel Benefits: Hybrid work week Competitive salary Extensive health and dental benefit package Group RRSP contribution plans

You are in an area of the United States where high growth rates of renewable power occur. You have experience in or interest in; Electrical Engineering, Corporate development of Renewable power, Solar Power, or Energy Storage industry, and / or you have worked in the utility space. This individual is responsible for building strategic business relationships and providing a vision for all client engagement strategies and their execution. You support the development of the organization on a casual basis aligned with your availability and interest in the subject matter.
