  • Develop a thorough understanding of the project requirements as they relate to scope, budget, staffing and schedule
  • Review electrical technical deliverables including but not limited to electrical drawings, general layout drawings, design calculations, standard specifications, equipment lists
  • Oversees and manages multiple projects
  • Prepare and provide proposal support
  • Client engagement related to business development
  • Participates in client project requirement meetings, value analysis, and cost estimating
  • Conduct site visits, which may include travel regionally and internationally
  • Follow all health and safety policies, regulations, and legislation


  • Registered as a professional engineer (P. Eng.)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
  • 3 years of experience within the renewable industry
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, with relevant codes, calculations and studies
  • Ability to lead one or more teams through all phases of project document production
  • Strong understanding of procurement, contracting and commissioning methodologies

Digital Marketing Assistant/Copywriter

The Digital Marketing Assistant/Copywriter is responsible for initiating and managing online campaigns focused on driving client engagement. In addition, the role supports client engagement through the development of proposals and project plans. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is an entry-level position with room to grow.


  • Deploy and manage advertising campaigns across social channels
  • Inside sales support, including proposal development and report writing.
  • Manage deployment of ad copy and creative, including text, images, and video, to align with brand and product marketing
  • Estimate and manage monthly budgets against program goals (ROAS, CPM, etc.)
  • Monitor and report on KPIs using Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Adwords, and other reporting tools
  • Maximize reach and efficiency with frequent, product A/B tests
  • Collect and analyze data, research competitors and identify trends in order to achieve maximum ROI for campaigns.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on activity and present results and next steps to company leadership on an ongoing basis.


  • Diploma or certificate in digital marketing or copywriting
  •  Understanding of digital marketing and how content strategy fits into business initiatives
  • Knowledge of web site maintenance ( WordPress preferred )

This individual is responsible for building strategic business relationships and providing a vision for all client engagement strategies and their execution. The candidate will reach their goals through active management and one on one meetings with customers. This individual will develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers by providing high-level customer service while maintaining the culture of the company. This candidate will help us identify, qualify and close merger and acquisition opportunities.

Jr. Engineer


Phoventus is currently seeking a Jr. Engineer to join our Burlington, ON team.  The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in applied science or engineering, have 1-2 years experience, be comfortable working independently and with others in a consulting-based business.


  • Provide technical and administrative support through all phases of a project
