Full-time Junior / Intermediate Electrical Engineer

Currently, we are seeking an individual who is eager to learn and grow within our organization and the renewable energy industry. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are driven to succeed and thrive in a challenging environment, especially when deadlines are approaching. We require individuals who can work independently as well as in a team, and who are able to commute to our Oakville, Ontario office.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical documentation including but not limited to electrical drawings, general layout drawings, design calculations, standard specifications, equipment lists
- Write reports for power system studies such as arc flash analysis
- Deliver project requirements as they relate to scope, cost, and schedule
- Prepare and provide proposal support
- Work well under the direction of senior engineering staff
- Engage with clients and promote business development
- Conduct site visits, which may include travel regionally and internationally
- Follow all health and safety policies, regulations, and legislation
- Make sure all project timelines are met
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Having previous experience in renewable energy is an advantage
- Familiar with relevant codes, calculations, and studies
- Knowledgeable in PVsyst, ETAP, Microsoft Office
- Genuine passion for the renewable energy sector
- It is crucial to possess exceptional skills in both verbal and written communication
